English as a Second Language
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are designed for the limited English proficient student to learn to speak, read, and write the English language. Students will also learn government, history & civic skills so they may pursue a higher education, vocational training to further their careers.
ESL academic classes are open entry/open exit. Instructors use a variety of instructional methods to accommodate all learning styles. Classes are designed to help students obtain a job, become more involved in their children’s education, learn to communicate family health needs, become involved in community activities, and learn citizenship skills.

For new enrollments, placement tests are administered on Tuesdays at 4pm at the locations listed below.
