Take the next steps towards a rewarding nursing career with our 18-month Vocational Nursing program. Students receive in-depth classroom instruction paired with hands-on clinical training in a variety of healthcare settings, building the skills and confidence needed for professional practice. Graduates who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the California State Board Licensing Exam for Licensed Vocational Nursing (NCLEX). This comprehensive program prepares students for both administrative and clinical roles in a medical setting. Training includes medical terminology, patient communication, scheduling, medical records, insurance processing, vital signs, infection control, phlebotomy, EKGs, medication administration, CPR/first aid, and assisting with examinations and procedures. Eligible students gain real-world experience through externship placements and are prepared to sit for the California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) examination.

This program trains students to accurately process data and submit insurance claims using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Students learn medical reimbursement procedures and healthcare documentation standards essential for medical offices and billing departments. This training prepares you for high-demand career opportunities as Medical Biller, Coding Specialist, or Claims Processor.

Our hands-on nurse assistant training program prepares students for entry-level positions in healthcare settings by combining classroom instruction with supervised clinical experience. Students will learn essential patient care skills, safety procedures, infection control, communication, and basic nursing fundamentals. Students complete both theory and clinical training and, upon successful completion, are eligible to take the California State Nursing Assistant Competency and Evaluation Examination. 

*The program is offered during the day as a full-time 9-week course and in the afternoon and evening as a part-time 16-week course.

The Resident Care Assistant program prepares students for entry-level positions in healthcare settings. This course is designed to strengthen the essential mathematical skills required for success in medical training programs. Students will review foundational math concepts—including fractions, decimals, and percentages—with a specific focus on calculating accurate medical dosages. This class provides the necessary preparation for students entering clinical programs or pursuing healthcare certifications.

This foundational program focuses on the essential administrative operations of a medical office. Students gain proficiency in medical terminology, patient communication, appointment scheduling, medical records management, and insurance processing.

This is a two-part, two-semester training program:

• Fall Semester: Administrative Medical Assisting & Terminology (Front Office)

• Spring Semester: Clinical Medical Assisting (Back Office)

Please note: You must successfully complete the Fall semester to be eligible for the Spring Clinical training.

This advanced program builds upon the administrative skills gained in the Front Office semester to focus on clinical patient care. Students receive hands-on training in vital signs, infection control, phlebotomy, EKGs, medication administration, CPR/first aid, and assisting with examinations and procedures.
